Garmin Carrying Case for Nuvi 660

The black leather case is well made for the Garmin Nuvi 660. We purchased the carrying case for the Garmin so we could remove it from the vehicle and put in our pocket, purse or luggage for traveling on vacation. When reviewing the Garmin 660 product we found many people who had their vehicles broken into and their portable Garmin was stolen. Because of this high theft of these portable electronic devices we wanted ours out of sight to prevent theft by a break-in to our vehicle as well as making it portable for our other three vehicles. We could take it with us or put it in the vehicle glove box. It is a perfect fit for the Garmin and protects the screen and its case very well. However, even though the unit fits fairly snug in the case, the first time I put it in one my larger purses, the Garmin came out of the case and fell into my purse because the top of the case is open. Somehow the case was upside down in my purse and the screen could have easily been scratched. It would be best in a zippered pouch of a purse or snuggly in a pocket.
