Don't Let the Small Size Fool You!

Date of Review:  Apr 25, 2005
The Bottom Line: Buy this if you want a cheaper or more portable alternative to the StreetPilot 2610, unless you really need more than 128MB. Easily beats c330 or Roadmate 300.
Review: Within a week I purchased a Garmin Streetpilot c330, a Magellan Roadmate 300 (RM300), and the Garmin Quest. I kept the Quest -- it's not just a better value priced at hundreds less, it's actually a far better GPS. The Quest is effectively a...

I've used many, this is the best!!

Date of Review:  Jun 9, 2005
The Bottom Line: Perhaps the very best value in GPS's you can buy. Excellent routing and versatility.
Review: Wow. That's all I can say. I've been a GPS fan for almost 5 years now. I've owned a Garmin eMap, Garmin eTrex Vista, a Socket Bluetooth GPS that I used with my old PocketPC & laptop, and an iTrek Mouse GPS for use with my Treo 600 and laptop. I've...

Great product, compact design, so-so manual

Date of Review:  Jul 27, 2005
The Bottom Line: This appears to do everything the larger vehicle-mounted units do but in a smaller package you can take with you.
Review: I purchased this for an upcoming road trip and have been testing (playing with it) for a week now. I'm really pleased. It has done everything I was expecting it to do.

First Impression

The unit is smaller than I expected. The...

Great GPS for the budget-minded rover

Date of Review:  Jul 20, 2006
The Bottom Line: This is a fine travelers companion for those of us on a budget.
Review: The Garmin Quest is a compact, easy to use and helpful multi-purpose GPS. It can be mounted in your car, where it has a friendly voice, or hand-held for your on-foot adventures.

What's In The Box

The Quest comes with an...

Quest versus GPS V, a comparison

Date of Review:  Jan 12, 2006
The Bottom Line: As an upgrade from the GPS V the Quest is a great buy. The clear screen, faster calculations, and more memory are obvious wins.
Review: I recently replaced my trusty Garmin GPS V with the Garmin Quest. This review compares and contrasts the Quest to its GPS V predecessor.

Exceeded expectations in every way

Date of Review:  Aug 12, 2005
The Bottom Line: If you want a versatile tool you can use on the road or in the woods that won't break the bank the Quest is tops.
Review: Just bought this last month for a two week road & trail trip through Adirondack Park and New York. Let me caveat by saying this is my first GPS so I don't have anything to compare to. I purchased this unit because of favorable reviews and the desire...

How did I live without this thing?!?

Date of Review:  May 25, 2005
The Bottom Line: I HIGHLY recommend this product...it's inexpensive (for a GPS unit) and it works wonderfully.
Review: I moved to Boston about nine months ago and was having the worst time driving around. Basically, I was constantly lost. I couldn't drive anywhere by myself because I always had to have someone there to navigate for me. That was until I received a...

A Great Product....

Date of Review:  Oct 7, 2005
The Bottom Line: A great product at an attractive price.
Review: Took it to Las Vegas on the second day I had it and it got me to my hotel at night in spite of 3 construction detours which forced me to repeatedly ignore the unit's voice commands- but no worry- it quickly recalculated each time and rerouted me...

If it can help me cross Los Angeles, it can do anything!

Date of Review:  Jun 7, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a portable GPS, this is a great purchase.
Review: My wife bought me the Garmin Quest for my birthday. I travel for business, and often end up in some very remote/rural areas, so this was a great item for me. And, the timing was perfect, as I would be traveling to California from Missouri the next...

Excellent value, great performance

Date of Review:  Nov 7, 2005
The Bottom Line: Amazing value for the money because it is being liquidated. If size and money are considerations, then this is your navigator.
Review: Are you navigationally challenged? Do you get lost going to the market? Do you like gadgets? If so, then you may want to consider buying a GPS navigator.

Navigators use the US Army's constellation of satellites to locate your position on...
