Garmin eTrex Legend Handheld GPS Receiver

I bought my camo at field and trek at ambleside,UK. after only 2.5 months it developed a fault (the camo just locked and could not be switched on or off). Field and Trek were very unhelpful, as were Garmin (very rude staff at garmin UK). No replacement unit was offered although I asked Field & Trek, and Garmin repeatedly for one as I use the camo for work a lot. Only after 4 weeks did I receive the repaired unit. No comment was made about what was actually wrong with it. all my marks, waypoints and routes information were erased, and again no apology for this either. I contacted the support manager of garmin europe, Tony Broad. He only replied to my recorded delivery letter 14 days later and clearly could not be at all bothered.
For obvious reasons I will not buy another Garmin. I will also refrain from any future purchases at field and Trek.
