Garmin E-Trex Legend

Have had mine for about 2 years now and I really like it. It has a "joystick" on the face that make use a bit easier on the move. I used it at first primarily as a Military GPS while in the infantry. I was fairly accurate to the Military GPS pluggers. But size comparison is no match. This GPS is small, light, and very user friendly compared to the military counterparts. If you get the mapsource products it makes life even better. With this you can even add in ground features and details in the areas you choose. You need to keep up with the software updates online. The Garmin people are ontop of any "bugs" or problems they find or users report and fix them as soon as possible. Has an interface at the beginning that you can put in your personal information if lost. Comes with many built in accesories like a calculator, Sun and Moon chart, Hunting and Fishing guide, a calendar for those of use who forget everything, and a very helpful area calculation option. Has a long memory that you can turn off and on easily. Has many options to allow you to customize you displays. you can set up your Trip Computer to the options that are important to you.
