A Great Game for the Mob Movie Fan

Hothouse Creations/Eidos Interactive's 1998 crime simulation strategy game "Gangsters: Organized Crime" is perfect for the person who likes gangster flicks. This game combines the planning aspect of games like "SimCity" with action of a crime movie.
In this game, the player chooses his/her face, name and gang color. Other features to set before playing include: length of game, aggressiveness of opponents (one player only), strength of economy, and the amount of money and "hoods" he/she starts with. The object of the game is to become the top gangster in town by any means fair or foul.
The interface is quite easy to use once one becomes familiar with it, but the mouse controls do seem awkward at first. The game offers three levels of city views: street level with 3D buildings, roof level- to see more of the city at once but still track one's hoods, cars, and businesses, and sky level - good for checking territory boundaries and finding a general area quickly.
