My daughter was told to "Get a life" so she did
Date of Review: May 20, 2000
This is one of those games that the kids actually want to play with each other. I have three kids (9,11,14) and it is very rare to find them wanting to play with each other. But a few months ago, my oldest daughter got the game of Life for the computer. Now it is not uncommon to find 3 kids smooshed closely together in 2 chairs playing this game.
Installation - My 14 year old daughter installed the game. Didn't hollar for help, so even though I wasn't around, I assume the installation was simple and straight forward.
Not just for Kids! There have been a few times when I have sat down with the kids to play the game. It is a lot different than the game of life that I grew up with. After all, what ever happened to being able to sell your children when you retired. Every once in a while, while my husband is surfing on the Internet, I get on to my kids computer and start up a game of my own.
More Interactive than the board game! I like what they have done with the animation. The sound effects are pretty cool too. :-) You may not have much fun playing the board game by yourself, but the computer version will give you people to play against.
This is one of those fun to play kind of games. You may not get it out every day, but when you do, you can have a lot of fun, regardless if you are playing with friends, or just against the computer.
