LIFE For Your PC..Get It

My daughter played LIFE at a friends house, on their game system. When she saw the game on CD at the store, she begged to buy it. It was only $9.99, so I bought it.

It was an excellent purchase. My daughter and her friends seem to really enjoy this game, which is the true test of it's usefulness. I played this game with my daughter a couple times, and found it to be interesting and fun. The game has two modes of play, the regular board game and an enhanced version. The enhanced version is more fun, and includes little animated clips that coincide with the square you land on. You progress on the board in similar fashion to the regular board game, gaining a spouse, children and progressing through time to retirement. The music that plays in the background is representative of the time period that you are in...from the sixties until the 2000's.

This game also allows you to play with other people (I think up to six players) or against the computer, or a combination of both. The object of the game is to retire with the most money at the end of the game. It is an interesting spin on the original board game, and will provide your family (especially your children) with hours of fun...if they're allowed on the computer for that long. Average game play is about thirty minutes.

I would recommend this game for family enjoyment. There is no violence or objectionable material. My daughter and her friends really enjoy it. They are all eight and nine years old. So that is the age category I would place this game in.
