The GT Express lives up to its advertising!

This is the first item I have ever purchased from an infomercial and I was a little concerned that it would be inferior quality or that it would not work as advertised. However, my fears are completed unfounded and I am highly satisfied with this product. It has simplified my cooking and I can't imagine how much electricity it saves since I am able to use the GT Express in leiu of the stove or oven. I have prepared muffins, biscuits, rice, chicken, rolls, pork chops, vegetables, eggs, sausage, omelets, stuffed french toast and wraps in just the two weeks I've had it. Just as the commercial stated, it has saved me much time, particularly in the morning when there's a mad rush to hurry off to school and work. I realize that the wells are small, however, I have been able to cook a large chicken breast(8 oz) in less than 15 minutes by simply folding the ends under and sort of rolling it up. My chicken is usually tender and juicy but I have noticed that it is even more so when prepared in the GT Express.

I was also concerned about cleaning but if you will follow the directions for prepping (these are included with the machine obviously) then you will not have any problems. Just like cast iron, the wells can be "seasoned" so that they keep their non-stick ability. Prior to each use, I use a cloth or napkin to wipe a small amount of cooking oil on the lid and the wells. Clean up has been VERY easy. After the machine is cool, I wipe it out with a damp, clean cloth. I have not had to scrub at all.

Storage for this item is also neat. It takes up less space than my toaster. Also convenient, the machine is designed with a cord wrap on the bottom so that the cord also does not get in your way if the unit stays on the counter.
