Great Camcorder

I believe this camcorder is the best in its price range. It is my first camcorder and I am very happy with it. I have been transfering the tapes to dvd format with my cheapo dvd player to save money on the slightly expensive tapes (FYI it does not come with a tape). The snap-shot option is great and often makes hilarious pictures. And if you hold it down you can take multiple pictures in a row. The slow-motion option makes the video very blurry. In the dark you cannot see anything but a flash light has worked for me. This camcorder has had much wear after almost a year but still works as good as new.

Pros:

-Anti-shake works great
-Lots of zoom (25x)
-Color display
-Firewire port if you want to edit on your computer
-Light weight and small
-Tapes are re-writable
-Good price

Cons:
-Small buttons may be hard to press with big hands
-Cannot change tapes without taking it off optional tripod
-Cost of tapes adds up quickly
-If you upgrade battery to a larger capacity it gets heavy
-Rewind is a bit slow
