Product Review

Disappointed, that says it all

Pros:  Quality overall is good

Cons:  No easy Video transfer to PC. (No analog input either).

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

I recently bought this camera at Circuit City and even though I liked the picture quality and the built in light and all, when I wanted to transfer the video to the computer, the USB interface does not work for video, only for images, there is no software to edit video and the only way to transfer the video to the PC is via a Firewire 4 pin port that JVC claims there is no guarantee that it will work. I had a Samsung model with USB streaming that I returned because it did not have built in light but I regret that move now as I am stuck with a camera that is not helping me make my own DVDs.

I am thinking about buying a Firewire PCI port or try to use that money to upgrade to a better camera...
