Defective Mag Tubes

We purchased this model from GE in April of 2005. By October 2006 the microwave stopped working. We called the GE Service department to have someone come out to look at the oven. We were told there was a $75 fee to send someone out to look at the oven. The service man came out and tested our oven. He discovered that the Mag Tube?? had ceased working. He then informed us that the although the Mag Tube was covered by warranty, GE has a minimum service fee of $186 to fix the oven. The job took about an hour and did not require a second visit by the service agent. We felt ripped off. What ever happened to standing behind your products. Buyer beware!!!
