Nice upgrade from older recalled unit...

My old Profile unit was form around 1999. It too had the recall due to Jet Dry dispenser potentially leaking onto wires and potentially causing a fire. $330 for a very nice dishwasher or $150 for a not as good model. I took the $300.
The older dishwasher wasn't washing to our satisfaction anyway.
The 7900 has a nice countdown display which is nice, although the time to perform the same function changes from time to time. We run the Anti Bacteria cycle, which takes, between 60 and 68 minutes.
We use the automatic liquid detergent dispenser. It takes a couple of extra steps to have this do an accurate job of dispensing the "correct" amount of detergent. A simple water test strip is provided followed by an interesting set of press "this" to do "that" kind of thing.
We use 7th Generation phosphate free detergent.
I think that the unit does a good job. If it does leave anything that needs to be cleaned off, it is often very dried on and sort of difficult. It doesn't happen very often though. I do think that there are some "dead" zones in the corners of the racks. So, the dirtier things should go directly over and under the sprayers.
