GE JVM1870 looks nice but is difficult to service

I purchased this unit in 06/2004 and installed it under 15 inch cabinets. (Just the way it was installed in the showroom.) All was well until the interior oven light went out. The user manual was a little sketchy on replacing the bulb - no schematics or blowups showing how to do it. After two emails to customer service, I found that I would actually have to uninstall the unit to replace the bulb. After taking the unit out, I found two screws on top of the unit about two inches back from the front of the unit that held the front grillwork that had to be removed to get at the bulb.

This design might be fine for installation under 12 inch cabinets, but not for 15 inch cabinets, unless you don't mind taking the unit out every year to change the bulb.
