Only 1 week old, lots of questions

So far it works great as a microwave.  I haven't tried all the functions, but the ones I use the most are simple and easy enough to use.  However, I've tried baking twice and was disappointed both times.  First, I tried to bake frozen fish filets.  It asked to prehead oven to 425...it took about 20 min, which is no different from my current regular oven.  I was hoping it would be faster since it's much smaller than a regular oven.  If anyone has input here, please share!  Then, it took about 30 minutes to get the fish done.  In my regular oven it takes about 20 minutes.  Then, I tried brownies.  These were from a box of Duncan Hines or something.  It asked to preheat to 350, which the oven did in about 5 minute.  Great!  Then the baking time was between 30-35 minutes.  At 35 minutes, the middle was still completely raw.  So I added another 8 minutes, then 10, then 10 again...over 60 minutes and the middle was still not done!  I've made these brownies several times before and 35 minutes was always sufficient in a regular oven!  I finally took it out and gave up!  The edges were hard as a rock, but the middle not done.  Then, I read the instructions (I know...)  It did say to bake on the rack, not directly on the glass plate.  But, would that have made a difference?  I'll try that next time, but so far I'm not very impressed with it.  If anyone has any tips or pointers, please share!  I'd love to know.  I'll give it 2 more weeks trying different recipes.  If they don't work, I'm returning it to Lowe's (they said they'd take it back w/in 30 days).
