Pros: Large cavity

Cons: Lousy service life - only 18 months with moderate usage.

We bought this unit from Sears on 4Feb06 for $140. It worked reasonably well, but had a bad habit of arcing with small loads unless we kept a cup of water inside. On 26Aug07 it suddenly started making a loud unhappy sound in when the heating kicked in and didn't warm the food at all. This was, of course, 6 months after the one year warranty expired. Looks like the magnetron died.

Since the unit was not used heavily I certainly expected more than 18 months service out of it. Our next microwave will *not* be a GE.
