The Bottom Line: Avoid this product due to poor reliability of component parts.

Review: I purchased this refrigerator in 2003. One month after the warranty expired we lost hundreds of dollars in food due to a faulty door hinge. The service man explained to us that it was a faulty design. We had to "rig" it ourselves to fix this...

love the sound of a train coming? Buy this frig.

Review: This refrigerator is loud. I called the company (GE) and have been told that this noise is normal. They have been receiving many complaints about the frig. sounding like a jet landing, a train pulling in, etc. but, they will do nothing about it...
