Just purchase this unit with one additional handset. The base unit is working fine & is everything the brochure said it was. My problem is I can't register the optional handset leaving it inoperable. I sent an E-mail to Thomson (manufacturer) & hopefully they can come up with a fix. If not, I'll return both units to Best Buy. I believe this phone is an excellent buy but without the other handset I really want the use of the other handset.
