General Electric 25881 5.8 GHz Twin 1-Line Corded / Cordless Phone

The look and feel are great and the sound quality acceptable. I also like to dial without raising the handset as I use this phone in a home business platform. However, the phone (after the warrantee expired) started to shut itself off, and I mean off. To restart I have to unplug the power cord, pause, plug it back in and then use the phone for about 10 minutes until it shuts off again. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and now have to buy a new phone, a costly and time consuming feature of this phone. I have had GE appliances and phones (and still do) and have had reasonable success with them, but this phone is a loser.
