Product Review

Nice looking, but.....

by   glenmar ,   Dec 10, 2008

Pros:  Nice looking

Cons:       Broke down 4 months after the warranty ran out.

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

Nice looking unit, but only lasted 16 months before a circuit board went out and the refrigerator section quit working resulting in a $377 repair bill. I had faith in the product so I didn't buy the extended warranty, big mistake! Also, the freezer handle kept coming off. Very cheaply constructed unit.  I also purchased a GE micro, dishwasher, and stove at the same time. I thought maybe this would give me some leverage when I called GE.  NOT!  Their attitude was "too bad, we can sent a guy ot for $85 plus parts and labor." Never again will I purchase any GE product. Chintzy product, terrible customer service.
