General Electric E1040 Digital Camera

This is the best camera I have, I have 5 more cameras, they are good too, though. It has very good ergonomic design,( nothing extra that you don't need ) very simple to operate, takes great quality pictures, images come out very sharp and colors are true, works under any light conditions. I can blow up pictures on my computer to enormous size and they still look good. My family and friends are impressed with the overall quality of this camera. I've owned this camera since Feb.2008 and this is what I noticed:

1. Small enough to fit my pocket; I don't like carrying a purse.
2. 3-inch screen.
3. Battery life is surprisingly long, ( recharged every two weeks )I can take about 100 pictures, check them and it still has two bars on the screen, unlike my Kodak C875 that eats batteries like crazy - 20 pictures - batteries are out.
4. Shutter lag is not bad, but there have been moments when the right time was lost.

5. After zooming-in takes a couple of seconds to re-focus.
