dvd player part stopped working

Review: It works great for the first few months, then the dvd tray decided to just stop working. It keeps opening and refuses to play anything. We haven't contacted customer service yet and after reading reviews here, we may not bother. We did learn though...

Review: OK, I also purchased this 2203 Model! The machine currently is working, however the remote does not work at all, so the use of this machine is limited. If ANYONE with a JUNK machine has the remote laying around, I'd love to get one that will work!

The Bottom Line: Do not buy this product. It is a waste of money and Emerson does not stand behind their products at all.
