After taking this unit out of the box and playing only a couple DVDs, it started to exhibit the same behavior as all have described here. Freezing up during play! Then you have to get it restarted by randomly pressing a variety of buttons..stop..Play..etc..etc..when it does finally unfreeze..usually its starts at a different scene. Damn piece of garbage is going into the dumpster!
