Gangstarr '89 til infinity...

One of the main reasons why I love the compilation of Gangstarr's "FULL CLIP",is because of the immense respect that i have for the group. The group consisting of THE GURU and the best d.j. that has ever spun a record, D.J. PREMIER accumulates a great style of Guru's monotone rhyme flow and the best beats produced by Premier. Some of the things that i don't like about the album are the "old school" songs. I haven't really been around long enough to understand what the words of any old school artists represented. I can learn to love the words and the beats that are loved by millions of fans. With the new songs such as, "Discipline" that features the R&B group TOTAL,brings to light an aspect of self-control.
The other new song is the self-titled "Full Clip" has a beat that will just have anyone start to shake their head. I remember growing up and listening to "Mass Appeal" and my favorite song on the whole compilation, "Dwyck." There are a lot of guest appearances throughout the album. Artists such as Nice and Smooth, Jeru the Damaja, and Freddie the Foxxx make the album complete. They bring that something extra to the stew of entertainment. Definitely, Gangstarr's "Full Clip" is a must have.
So far Gangstarr has a decade of headbanging beats and mind-blowing rhymes, all I can ask for is another decade.
