Author's Review
I recently purchased the f700 from fuji camera. I have been using a Canon G2 for about a year, it's a nice camera, but bulky, so I never bring it with when I want to get spontaneous pictures (i.e. out with friends, weekend trip, vacations,etc...). The f700 is light and compact, but has a very sturdy feel to it. The picture quality is very high (6.2 megapixels [3.1 mP iterpolated on 2! CCD's --> SuperCCD technology]), and for a point and shoot camera, it does surprisingly well in low light. I think what I like best about the f700 is the size. It fits easily into my shirt or pants pocket (it really isn't much bigger than my sonyericsson T616 Cell phone). I love that I can bring it with me everywhere I go. I have been taking so many pictures with this camera, that I think I may have made up for the year and a half of no pictures that I spent with the Canon G2! Plus this camera takes 640 x 480 30 fps movies in .AVI format. The video quality is great, and there is no preset time limit on video clips. You keep recording until you run out of space on the xD-picture card.
