Great Camera - for under $400

The Bottom Line: Recommended if you just like to shoot, print, & like realistic looking pics. Especially if you have kids, it's really quick. Autofocus & Autoexposure is fine for everyday/night shots.

F700 is crippled

The Bottom Line: Good camera, nice size, but with some major omissions and the revolutionary SR sensor is amazing, but crippled in this camera.
Review: First of the F700 has a revolutionary CCD it has two sensors next to each other, the S (sensitive) and R (range) sensor. The S is like a normal sensor and the R is less sensitive and extends the ability to capture dark and light of photos by 400%...

Review: I recently purchased the f700 from fuji camera. I have been using a Canon G2 for about a year, it's a nice camera, but bulky, so I never bring it with when I want to get spontaneous pictures (i.e. out with friends, weekend trip, vacations,etc...)...

FinePix 3800 Vs The New F700

The Bottom Line: I happily returned my new F700 to Ritz Camera and kept my FinePix 3800. The 3800's picture quality is absolutely superior. The new F700 is quite disappointing.

The Bottom Line: With 6.2 magapixel you can't miss getting a perfect shot. Very simple to use. Even professionals will appreciate the available settings for use in low light to action shots.

Lots of potential, falls short

The Bottom Line: If you can find it cheap enough, I'd buy it over a medium level consumer camera. But it's image quality doesn't compete with high end compact consumer cams.
Review: I've owned a Fuji 6800, and an F601, so I thought that the F700 would be a natural upgrade to these very good Fuji cameras.
