Good value for an adequate entry level camera

The Bottom Line: The FinePix A400 is not the best camera on the market, but it may be the best value. Good pictures, good features, and low price make it worth considering.

A Fine Pix taker...when it works!

The Bottom Line: Not recommended based on poor quality and reliability
Review: My wife and I bought this FujiFilm camera for my 16 year old daughter last Christmas. The priorities were that it have a decent megapixel resolution (3-5 mp) and be small enough to put in a girl's purse or small pocket. Oh, and be "cute".

Nice, compact, and handy

Attractive, small camera... mediocre pic quality

Review: Got this camera for my father-in-law for Christmas. Played with it myself to make sure it works.

The camera is cute as a button but be sure to get >2600 mAH NIMh rechargeables as it burns through two AAs pretty quickly.

My Fine Pix A400 SSSSUUUUCkS BIG TIME!!!!!

Review: So far I have received 4 Fuji A400 Fine Pix Digital Cameras From DELL and every single one that I have received takes about 10 to 15 pictures and stops working. The problem seem to be: The take picture button or zoom in button shuts the camera...

A Great First Camera

The Bottom Line: Buy one if what you need is a simple point and click camera at a reasonable price.
Review: The A400 met our criteria of: Not too expensive, not too complicated, not too large or too small, not too heavy, with decent optics and enough pixel density for a good 4x6 print. Also, we thought it a logical product for a reputable maker of films...
