Disappointing

The Bottom Line: Save your money and get something a little better.
I bought this camera for $199 and my main reason for choosing it was the fact it was the cheapest I could find which had both 4.1 mega pixels and an optical zoom. Unfortunately I have to say that I have generally been disappointed with the results obtained. The picture quality is generally good as far as definition goes apart from the fact that I have noticed that all my photos contain a small white spot when enlarged. I guess there is a pixel damaged on the main sensor. The exposure and definition is not so good either. The camera doesn't seem to be able to handle scenes which contain a diverse lighting very well and many pictures appear under or over exposed. Indoor flash photos seem very harsh and also the autofocus does not generally work indoors or in low light. There is very little manual control of the exposure but there are 5 pre-set modes. Movie mode is really just a toy as there you are only allowed 1 min to record plus there is no sound. On the plus side the camera is easy to use and reasonably small. In conclusion I would not recommend this camera. If you really need 4.1 mega pixels then try and spend a little more money or go for a higher quality camera with more features but less mega pixels.
