Fuji Finepix has nothing fine about it

This is the WORST camera I have EVER bought, disposable film cameras included. I picked it up on clearance at WalMart because I needed a cheap small camera to keep in my bag. It's not even good for that. It looks really nice and the sliding panel that protects the lense is cool but the picture quality is more like a 2mp camera than a 6.3. I have a big Sony DSC that is a 6MP and the quality on that blows this out of the water.

The picture quality was about the grade of a camera phone. Edges were blurred, graininess in the photo and image stabilization was about zero. I even popped this on my tripod to try and improve. Nothing. Took it outdoors in indirect sunlight, still garbage. There's nothing that will help this camera.

The switch to go from movie to photo mode is so loose it was constantly getting switched.

It says it has fast response for rapid pictures, but in lower light (daylight inside with natural light coming in but not direct) was ridiculously slow.

I tried every setting under the sun to adjust the quality of the photos and although the 6M Fine mode was a bit of an improvement, it wasn't enough to impress me to keep it.

Overall this camera is going back to the store and I'm re-thinking my whole choice. I will likely go back to Sony because their quality is outstanding.
