Fujifilm Finepix z5

As a birthday present, my 17 year old sister received the Fujifilm Finepix z5 in "raspberry red". As the photographer of my household, any new camera is almost immediately confiscated and field tested by myself. My sister, realizing that she had no choice, allowed me to steal it time and time again to shoot many of the videos on my YouTube account, as well as document drunken outings.

The quality is splendid for such a tiny camera and cute enough for my sister to carry around without feeling nerdy or encumbered. Though I take issue with her technique at times, this is the perfect camera for documenting good times. [and also has a face detection feature!]

There are also many different fashionable cases to protect the finepix from harm while it jostles about your car or purse. The only problems I seem to have with the camera are its fickle trigger-sensitivity, flimsiness of the card-latch, and how simple it is to accidentally turn the camera on, thus draining the battery and leaving you with a dead hunk of smoke and mirrors.

Big-picture wise, this is a nice little camera for nice little girls and those with little time or sobriety to pay attention to composition [namely myself].
