Great Buy!

The Bottom Line: Definatley Buy! Great value and great product!
I got this camera 6 months ago and love it. I am a graphic designer and find that the photos I take both for art and family are great and very editable.
I consider myself a heavy photo taker and find that very few that I take do I want to delete later. In a past job I also worked as a photographer for a news paper, and while I like the standared professional camera. I would have preferred to have one of these accessable to me for smaller events that didnt require heavy flash.
The kids love it too and it is easy for them to understand. I love letting them run around with it and take "natural" photos and videos of themselves that I know they will cherish later.
As a graphic designer, I can say I am not a fan of the software it comes with and chose to bypass both the photo manager and photo editor it comes with. But this was not hard to do.
I keep the camera in my purse and after 6 months of "Wear and Tear" the only complaint I have is that scratches on its body are becoming very noticeable. Though I have had no hardware problems.
