Great Energy-efficient choice, deafening buzzer
Pros:
Energy efficient, relatively inexpensive, large capacity stackable unit
Cons:
Loud buzzer activates multiple times for a single load, no off or volume control
The Bottom Line:
Buy this energy efficient unit if you're not bothered by the loud buzzer or can disconnect it or have a service person disconnect it.

Author's Review
This unit is fast, efficient, and a good buy.
I bought it because it was the least expensive choice for a stackable Energy-Star compliant washer/dryer and it had excellent reviews on this web site.
What I love about it is that it has a large capacity for a stackable washer dryer, and lots of controls to wash my laundry just the way I like to.
There is one major flaw. There is a LOUD buzzer that goes off at the end of the wash cycle and up to four times during the dry cycle! The buzzing goes on for several seconds. One would think there would be volume control or a way to turn this off, especially considering that a stackable unit is usually placed in an apartment, not in some remote McMansion laundry room. Mine is adjacent to my kitchen and living room. The buzzing is unbearable-- everyone jumps off their seat when it goes off. Phone conversations come to a halt, the cat is scared, the baby wakes up. I simply can't understand why they would bother to make the machine so quiet, only to be punctuated by such loud buzzing.
I called Frigidaire with my complaint and they said under my warranty they could send someone out to dampen the noise. They said that turning the buzzer off altogether could void my warranty, as it could cause other problems-- and that turning it off would not be covered under the warranty. I'm considering doing it anyway, as I don't see how it would cause problems, and I don't know how they would find out and actually void my warranty.
Finally, be sure to follow installation instructions as far as removing the shipping hardware from the front/bottom of the machine. Our super installed the machine and did not remove the shipping hardware. When I ran the machine, the spin cycle made the entire machine vibrate violently. After we removed the hardware, the problem was fixed. Also, make sure it's balanced by adjusting the front legs.
