The perfect solution for a fair price

The full side-by-side refrigerator and freezer are perfect when you don't have the extra room or garage for a freezer, or, in our case, we got tired of going to the laundry room for freezer items. We have the stainless version and they look great together. The freezer door bins could be sturdier because you tend to grab them to stop the door swing or to close the door. I get the feeling the bin fronts will break. The refrigerator bottom shelf is a full shelf - but the door bins extend over the bottom shelf so you need to be sure to leave room for that (or the door may not be closed when you think it is closed); just a design flaw, too bad they didn't give some sort of indication of where to not place items on the bottom shelf. I consider these two faults to be very minor. Both units work exceptionally well. They look great together. Standard kitchens are not designed for full size side-by-side double units. We are modifying our existing kitchen layout by taking out the pantry closet that is next to the existing refrigerator location. It is worth relocating the pantry. Overall, I would not hesitate to buy this type of unit for our vacation home as well.
