Frigidaire is junk

I wanted a black side by side to match my other kitchen appliances. This unit looks very nice, modern curves, textured, and very shiny! It is exactly 3 years old and it stopped working, I lost all my food.... I remember living at home with my parents and they had the same frig long after I left for college, in fact when they sold that old frig it still worked! Anyway, I called a repair person and found out that the thermostat and the computerized module board, (defrost) quit working. ITS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD... with service call, and labor, and parts, and waiting 3 days for the parts....it set me back $350.00.

I wrote Frigidaire an email and they wrote back stating that the compressor was covered for 5 years....HELLO! I told them it was not the compressor, but all the electronics that failed, they said they were sorry I was having trouble in only 3 years. I think they should pay this bill, but since we live in a time where pride is not a factor in workmanship, I am stuck...

I will never purchase Frigidaire products again........
