Awesome show!
Date of Review: Dec 11, 2008
The Bottom Line: I love this series, anyone who is looking for a laugh will get one!
I absolutely LOVE this series. When "Friends" first came on NBC in the early 90's I was too young to watch, but as I got older, I started to watch some of the new shows and fell in love with all of the characters! I refused to watch the series finale in 2003 until i had seen all of the shows up to end. This series is 10 season, so you can definitely not watch in one day, but you will get lots of enjoyment out of watching these six friends with your loved ones!
Description: "Friends" is a show that follows six friends (Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Ross) threw out of their mid twenties and early thirties while living in New York City. You will see them grow and become more like adults threw out the series. There are lots of guest stars who pop in every season. Some of these stars were Tom Seleck, Terri Garr, Brad Pitt, and Bruce Willis to name a few.
Characters:
Rachel: She first arrives in NYC on her wedding day and moves in with Monica, her old high school girlfriend. During the 10 seasons, she evolves in to a hard working woman, who can stand on her own two feet without the help of her parents. The Rachel and Ross on again off again relationship is the main relationship threw out the series. There's a twist to them threw out the series too, that I won't give away!
Ross: Monica's geeky older brother who is a paleontologist, and a single father to Ben and Emma. It seems he like to get married and divorced a lot, 3 times! (a standing joke in the series) He is totally in love with Rachel too, he has been since the ninth grade.
Monica: A chef and a over obsessive cleaner. She always has to have everything in her apartment done so, and if it's done wrong, watch out! She gets married in there series with a surprise ending in the final show!
Chandler: A goofy/funny guy who is neighbors with Monica and Rachel, and lives with Joey. He is a great comedian in the series with his quick responses and over energetic actions! He finds the love of his life and is happily married, something he thought would never happen after his parents split.
Phoebe: A very strange woman! Phoebe basically grew up on the streets after her mother killed herself. She starts out in the series very off the wall, but by the end of the series she starts to have a more of a normal life with a fairy tale wedding to her love, Mike, and settles down with a steady job.
Joey: Who can forget about Joey! This guy's guy loves the ladies, food, and his friends! Threw out the series, Joey is an out of work actor who lands a HUGE roll on "Day's of Our Lives" (a soap opera) then looses it to his slow thinking mouth. He adds a ton of comedy to the series!
Overall: I think that this series is an awesome series, anyone who loves comedy will enjoy! There are tons of extras, that if you have even more time, you will love to watch! I would seriously recommend this to anyone who wants to have a laugh!
