"Most sequals suck!" But not this one.

"Friday th 13th" was a great horror film. It did what no other had done before. Witch was incorparate gore and suspense to make a great film. Than one year later we have "Friday the 13th Part 2." This one follows the survivor of the origanal to her home. Trying to get on with her life. But on one night someone in the dark has come to get revenge. This person is the deranged son of Pamela Vorhees ( who was the killer in the first one ). This person is Jason. The killer for "Friday the 13th Part 2." Again we are drawn to another camp on the Camp Crystal Lake. It's not he same camp in the origanal, just another one on the same Lake. We have camp counclers readying the place for the kids. But again Jason is on the prowl for victims. Part 2 has some great special effects and cool deaths. But it does lack the suspense that made the origanal so great. But it still does have lot's of suspense and some scares. The length is also really short. But hey I can live with that. But what I really liked about the film. Is the main character Ginny ( Amy Steel ). She knows about the legend of Jason. But like others who treat him like a monster. She tries to understand what he has gone threw and feels sorry for him. That part I liked. The caring of what he has gone threw was a nice touch. The end is good. with a great chace scene. People sometimes did not get the ending; but it is really easy to figure it out. Anyway a great sequal to the first. Just lacks a few things.
