Friday the 13th Part one

I of course own this movie, because its one of the best. Its a little simialer to the second, because you don't know who the killer is util the end. Mrs. Voorhees however was an excellent killer. She new what she was doing. This one was a big mystery, because you have a no idea who it could possibly be. I don't know if this one is the best, but its definetly one of them! Heres the plot.

A bunch of horny camp counselors, hit the lake to get in shape before the big opening, of the camp. But what the counselors don't know is the campsite has a death curse. A man named Crazy Ralph who claims he is the messanger of the lord tries to warn them, but they just won't listen.

In this one its pretty much the same group as all of them they smoke weed, they play sex games, and they of course have sex. There is only one sex scene though. There is T&A, but others have a lot more. You get to see a pair of titty's really quick. There could have been more. Everybody should like this movie because its a classic, and should not be avoided by anyone. There are some really good scenes of gore, like an axe in the head, and a head getting choped off. This one has great gore. I think this movie was pretty scary, one reason because of the "CH CH CH HA HA HA" music. There are also some scenes that jump out at you. The only thing that really got to me was the acting it was not 100% but it was okay.

Adrienne King's (Alice) inexperience showed in her performance, but she still did an okay job at looking really scared, she did okay. Kevin Bacon (Jack) did an excellent job, as the funny stoner kid. He gets killed in a real cool way! Walt Gorney (Crazy Ralph) makes himself look pretty crazy, but you can also tell he is right, when he tells you there is trouble. Betsy Palmer (Mrs Voorhees) does an excellent job, she really made herself look crazy, she scared me. Can you belive she only got the part because she had a car. She was the only one who could make it on time.

Director Sean Cunninghan could have probably done better, the shots were not to slick, but he still did a great job. I think he is a pretty good director. If you ask me.

So if you like Classic Horror movies, and lots of gore than you should like this its not the best in the series, but its definetly the most classic. I love this movie, and I would reccomend buying this. I love how this movie goes by fast, thats a plus. Its pretty scary, and there is some humor. So at least rent it.
