The Bottom Line: Clearly this game didn?t get the fame it deserves. Lovers of this genre will fully appreciate it.
Review: When I got this game I was surprised. Few people knew about it. Now, why was this game left unknown?
This game made it in my top 5 simulations ever. Then why isn't popular? Definitely one of world's greatest mysteries.

Finest space game ever!

Review: I started playing the demo version of this game and
got hooked on it. I couldn't stop playing. I'd play

The Great War

The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is that you should buy this game, it's fun exicting and it's got great replay.
Review: First and foremost this isn't Descent. That said lets continue, the people at Volition took a very good idea and refined it to make it even better.

Review: Freespace (short for Descent Freespace: The Great War) technically has nothing to do with Descent, but they need to borrow the name to get themselves "established", and they sure did. This game is what Wing Commander should have been.
