Author's Review
First off, I would just like to say that I saw this movie on HBO at 2:00 am and I was high on Smacks cereal and soda. If not for that, I probably would've thought this movie was totally stupid. Rather, I found the movie to be revelational, inspirational, and hilarious.
I can't even remember half of it because I was so whacked out on a sugar high. From what I can remember, Emilio Estevez is sent into the future accidentally and has to somehow save it, and find out why the hell the government wants him dead. What I wanted to figure out was, why the hell was Mick Jagger in this movie? I mean, please, Mick Jagger as a villain? Hardly believable. As if seeing him perform in concert with the Stones wasn't scary enough.
The best, and funniest part of this film was definitely this one bodyguard type character played by a black guy, later renamed "The Black Guy" by me and my friend who was there with me. This guy kicked major portions of ass.
In a casual, normal viewing, this movie will be unappealing to all audiences. It's so stupid. However, if you want to have a whole lot of fun and pleasant memories, you'll get this movie, ONE friend, and a giant box of Smacks cereal. It's the one with the green frog on the front. You will then make sure to stay awake until after midnight. You will then cover the couches with pillows and blankets so they will be fit for sleeping on. You will then put on "Freejack" after midnight, and you and your friend will both eat the Smacks cereal while watching. Recipe for perfection.
