No Tears for Shatner

Hey, I absolutely loved this film - it appeals to me and my sense of humor (which is categorized as 'bad' by most people). It's a (although I hate using the word) hip, hilarious and wonderful comedy about the world of two avid Star Trek fanatics and their mishaps into the realms of friendship, real-life and romance (and yes, I know that the word 'romance' is as foreign to a Trek fan as the word 'hygiene' but...). But it's not just for Trek fans, it's for Star Wars and in-general sci/fi and pop culture fans alike. The DVD for this is fantastic and kudos go out to the staff at Pioneer for it. It features a commentary from the filmmakers, Pop Culture Subtitles which explain what they're talking about half of the time, over 30 minutes of deleted scenes, and much, much more. Oh, yes, and did I mention that William Shatner gives his most self-depreciating (fully intentional) role in years? It's great! And wait until you hear the song "No Tears for Caesar" by The Artist Formerly Known As Shatner and The Rated R - true hysteria.
