Pros:  Worked like a charm for a total of 1 yr and three months.

Cons:  Internal component failure makes this unit Junk!

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

Purchased this slick reasonably priced model for our condo a year and 3 months ago (just past the 1 yr warranty). It is labeled as an Everstar model 36 bottle cooler with dual zones. Noticed water buildup on the bottom of the compartments initially and simply mopped up with a towel. We were impressed with the look and never had another issue until we noticed a funny gurgling sound and then both heat alarms were on. We unplugged and headed for a honeymoon in Mexico. Upon arriving back home just figured I would plug back in and be up and running with a nice cool drink. No cool down. I noticed the left compartment fan was not working and removed all the covers to view the system for obvious problems. I contacted a local repair service who asked if the compressor was running. It was. He said the coolant likely leaked out and the system would likely be unrepairable. I am disappointed that an electronic system with the obvoius aesthetics of this model would yeild this result. Go with the Haier or any other system than this one. Looks are only skin deep!
