Author's Review

Franklin makes the wine cooler for Home Depot under the Everstar brand. I purchased this "under the counter" cooler for a home remodel project and was annoyed to say the least that it required a 3 inch gap on top and 5 inches in back making it a "non under the counter" cooler. So I modified and adjusted and it just continues to get so hot that it you could fry an egg on the top, heats the kitchen to uncomfortable levels and doesn't keep white wine to the 47 degrees it is set to. Unfortunately, I waited beyond 30 days and Home Depot won't help me. Everstar sent two service techs who say "this one just gets hot" and advise me to buy an "under the counter" wine cooler! Everstar made me call back ever two weeks waiting for a decision from corporate and finally....they say they can't help. Its now in the garage and I'll donate it to a charity.
