First-Person Frights!

This is a GREAT first-person game! Tim Curry, as Doctor Frankenstein, really makes the game something different and unusual from every other CD-Rom game with live actors. For those who are familiar with the maniacal characters Tim Curry has created, this will come as no surprise. He *IS* Doctor Frankenstein! (He scared me! :)

The intro provides an audio back-story which becomes more and more important as the game progresses. The screen fades to black, with 'you' awakening to strange sights and sounds. You fade in and out until you awaken to the vision of a maniacal Dr. Frankenstein looming over your prone body.

You get up and begin interacting with Frankenstein and discovering your world. This is not for the shoot-em-up crowd - it is a multi layered puzzle waiting to be solved.

The down side to the whole thing is you can waste a lot of time wandering around in the castle without accomplishing much of anything. You *do* need to leave the tower and explore, however, to figure out what is going on and progress in the game. Don't think that just because you leave the castle tower (where you begin the game, and where Frankenstein is doing his thing) that you won't be bumping into the 'Good Doctor' from time to time. He can startle you in the most unexpected places and times!

This would make a good gift for Tim Curry fans, along with fans of the Horror Genre.
