Very good car

Well, we've had our '06 SEL for a couple of months now. managed to get about 4000 miles. This car drives very nice, handles excellent for this type of car. I can't wait until winter to see how the well AWD works. I have a couple of quirks I don't like. The rear lift gate needs a strap to pull on, those little hand holds are not deep enough or really work at all. also the "conversation mirror" was awesome in our mini van, but here it was an afterthought. the overhead console cuts off the top half of the mirror (viewable) and the conversation mirror cuts into at least half of the rearview mirror. if they had switched it with the sun glass holder, would have been excellent. I think the front wheel well intrudes a little too far into the passenger compartment, long legs have a hard time stretching. SO get adjustable peddle option. Otherwise I love this car. we can get 27 mpg with AWD. the sticker said 24. the CVT takes some time to get used to. Feels like the tranny is slipping, but after your used to it, a standard transmission feels slow.

I don't like the headliner installation. It needs more support. If you have a single back window down you get the "helicopter" effect. very annoying. If you get the DVD and sun roof this isn't a problem.

The main reason we bought it was because you can actually sit in the 3rd row.
