30 Months later

Lets start by saying that at the time this car was on the market I felt it was the best overall value. I shopped the big 5 auto manufacturers and the Ford 500 blew away all other choices in my comparison. I compared it to Camry, Accord, 300, Maxima/Altima, Impala, and some other Volvo/Saab/Mazda offerings. The key determining factor of this purchase was the fact the it offered AWD and it had a 5star gold crash test rating.
The 10 best features on this car(Limited) are
1. Extra Large Trunk-8 sets of golf clubs will fit
2. 6 disc MP3 CD changer-Allows 80 CD's if burned in MP3 format.
3. 18" Wheels...this car stands high and proud.
4. Keyless Entry-Touchpad
5. AWD
6. The Ride is Very smooth
7. The Back seat is comfortable for road trips, you get leg room, a center console with cup holders and storage chest.
8. 8 Cup holders
9. Stock Pirelli tires
10. Phone Charger located in console
10a. I love the oversized mirrors

Did I mention 5 Star Gold crash rating?

So I have driven this car now 40,000 miles. A couple of things to think about.

I am age 33/My sister, wife, and friends think it is an old mans car. I don't like the nonsexual status of this car.

Tires are scarce, and expensive $120 each on average...only a few manufacturers make this size 225/55-18
And good luck finding a winter tire....none manufactured.

Windshield is big....and subject to stone chips...$500 to replace.

By the way I achieve 22mpg
