Great Reliable Car

A couple years back I purchased my 2004 Ford Taurus used. I had found out during the summer that my other car was not going to pass inspection because the frame was rusting and had a huge hole in it. So, I needed a new car before inspection came in the fall. Yet, I had no money saved up so I headed to the dealership to see what I could get. The only thing I could get financed for was the Ford Taurus because it had just the right amount of miles on it, 27000, and it was in the right price range for me. I feel in love with this car instantly. My favorite features are the sunroof and the large trunk.


I have the Luxury Sedan which comes with:

Power windows and locks
Power adjustable seats- which are great because I am very short and it made it so I can see over the steering wheel.

CD Player
Large Trunk


The only bad thing about my car is the Amount of gas it takes. When I bought the car the salesman lied to me and told me it got 30 miles to the gallon. Which I thought was great because of the high cost of gas. On average the car only gets seventeen miles to the gallon. So, before I started carpooling I was spending a lot of money on gas just to get to work and back.


I love driving around in this car. Its nice not having to fix anything in the car. I have not had to fix one thing with the car since I purchased in November of 2006. In the past I had beater cars that were 15-20 year old and they always broke down on me. This car makes me feel safe.
