My Grandfather bought a 2004 Ranger XLT FX4 4-door in the summer of '04. The sticker price was over $28,000 but he got out of the showroom for $25,000 with all charges. He had been looking for a nice truck for a while, the two other serious continders were the two Toyota trucks.
Ours came with alot of the options, six - Disc Cd Changer, Auto Trans, Bed liner, and the side steps.
There has never been any mechanical problems with the truck. We have been getting the most disapointing gas mileage of any car that I have ever seen, but we do live in the suburbs of Washington D.C., it was getting nine miles to the gallon.
We are becoming more and more disapointed in the truck, the mai reason that we bought it was to haul a four - wheeler and there are hardly any thet will fit into it, so it is really useless. We have had it for over two years and it barely has 3,000 miles on it. It just sits on the street and he drives his '99Dodge Grand Caravan Sport and my Grandmother drives a '95 Ford Escort Wagon.
