space and comfort, the 2 necesities of childhood

Date of Review:  Mar 13, 2006
The Bottom Line: Great safe vehicle for a good price
Review: Usually I write very thorough reveiws of items on Epinions. But you can get a mechanical review, a smooth driving rating, a durability, ease of use and list of options on vehicles anywhere online. Edmunds.com is especially good for this. So I am...

Taxi

Date of Review:  Mar 21, 2007
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this minivan to anyone with children or someone with need for lots of space.
Review: I am first to admit that the idea of driving a mini van sent shivers up my spine, but after having it for jut 2 weeks I can really look back and laugh at my stupidity.

The van has so many features that come in so handy its hard to figure...

Freestar Family Fun

Date of Review:  Feb 15, 2006
The Bottom Line: If you need a family cruiser with plenty of room, plenty of storage and a great DVD system - you found it. Just watch the doors...
Review: We've owned several mini-vans over the last 10 years. All were GM-Chevy or Pontiac. Almost two years ago, we purchased a new Ford Freestar. We wanted the most room possible, a good ride, and a DVD system for our four kids.

The Freestar...

Never another Ford after this Freestar!

Date of Review:  Jun 18, 2008
The Bottom Line: We are so disappointed with this van, we have sworn off FORD and maybe even every other US manufactured vehicle.
Review: We purchased the Freestar in May of 2004 brand new- our first brand new vehicle! We were so excited about the DVD player and sliding doors, rear AC controls and the like!
Within a year, our excitement diminished greatly with numerous issues,...

DON'T DO IT!

Date of Review:  May 9, 2008
Review: When I bought my 2004 Ford Freestar, I loved it! The DVD player sold it to the kids! But it has proved to be a lemon! There has been a continuing transmission problem that has been undiagnosed to this date. It is frustrating to pay a payment...

Nice stylish minivan

Date of Review:  Nov 10, 2006
The Bottom Line: Minivans are handy but gas mileage sucks. This one is fine to buy.
Review: I bought a 2004 Freestar SES as an extra vehicle new at the end of the 2005 model year. It never sold at the dealer and I got a great deal on it. I already have a Lincoln Towncar and a VW Turbo Beetle so the van was meant for hauling and commuting...

I love my Ford Freestar!

Date of Review:  Jan 20, 2006
The Bottom Line: Strongly recommend, because it is a great vehicle. Good mileage, great cargo, comfortable seating for all. And the storage spaces are great for packrats like me!
Review: I am a member of a Ford family. In fact, our family still has a 1927 Model T in our possession. We are the only family to own it. It was passed from my grandfather to my greatgrandfather and now to my mom. Don't even ask what we would take for it...

Don't buy if you plan on keeping for a long time

Date of Review:  Aug 6, 2009
Review: I bought my 2004 Ford Freestar used with 14,000 miles. I've had it now for 5 years and just went over 100,000 miles. In the past year I've had to put in over 5000 dollars into it to keep it running. I've had problems with the steering, fuel, wheel...
