Had my first Windstar for 9 years had to get another one

We purchased a used 2003 Windstar last summer after owning a 1995 for almost 10 years. My only hope is that this one will last as long. Our main reason for choosing another windstar was past performance. I find that the Windstar has a firmer ride than other minivans and feels more like a full size car than a minivan. Mine came equipped with captains chairs giving the kids lots of room. The VHS is also good for the kids on long drives. Also came with headphones so that front passengers can listen to something else. I like the features on ours, while it isn't fully loaded it is nicely equipped. We have traction control, ABS, backup sensors, adjustable pedals and a CD sound system with VHS on board. The two things I don't like are the over sensitive sensors that cause the check engine warning to come on once or twice a year, and the gas mileage is less than remarkable, but isn't as bad as a truck. Appearance was also a factor. The Sport model comes standard with sixteen inch aluminium rims, rear spoiler and tinted windows to give it a sportier look. The only downside to that is tires are a little bit more expensive. All rear seats are easily removed when cargo space is required. All seats are on rollers so one person is usually enough to remove the seats.
