Great for Families
Pros:
It is great for families of all kinds.
Cons:
I have to take it back for emmissions recall.
The Bottom Line:
My final recommendation is that you should go down to your local Ford dealer and check it out for yourself!

We bought our Sport Track XLT in April of 03. Now, this was not our first choice in vehicles, but it was in our price range and it helped that my husband works for Ford, so we got a generous discount on it. Our first choice would have been to go with a F150 or something of that nature, but then it came down to practicality. We needed something that could hold two adults, and two car seats, and we wanted a truck bed. So, when we looked at the Sport track and test drove it, it seemed to have everything we wanted. The interior was nicely set, with a disc player, center console, five cup holder ( two up front, two in the back, and one on the side ).Also, after putting the car seats in the back there was plenty of space left over. We also really loved the lumbar adjustment.
The drive is very smooth and I love the view above all the other midsize vehicles! The gas mileage seems to get better and better every time we drive it, so that's a plus. I've experienced it in almost every weather condition, but I can find nothing wrong with how it drives.
The only major problem we have had was when we first bought it, it was not painted entirely on the door jam inside all doors and they had to repaint that. Ford was very nice about it and gave us a rental car for about three weeks while this was done. Now, I do have to take it back sometime soon for an emissions recall that they are having on it. Other than that, no major problems!
I would reccommend to anyone that this is a great vehicle, and in fact I have reccommended it, and the person bought one and loves it. Except they went one better than me and bought a leather interior and self warming seats. Wish that model had been around for us!
