a good value in an old fashioned sedan

In my search for a new car I gave serious consideration to a Crown Victoria. I test drove a model with leather seats and the sport and handling package.
Personally, I find the exterior styling to be rather handsome although it immedaitely says "Grampa's car."The interior has not held up as well through the ages. The dashboard is particularly dated looking. The seats were actually too large for my 5' 5" frame.They could use some more contour as they were too flat for my taste although I would not go so far as to call them uncomfortable.This model was loaded with comfort and convenience features.
The trunk is absolutely huge.
The driving experience is much better than you would expect in a grampa's car.While it is not exactly nimble there is not a lot of roll and float. the car tracks well and acceleration is good for such a heavy car.Bumps are well controlled and there is little road noise. wind noise is also subdued but I thought the V8 engine let a little too much rumble into the cabin.
This is an extremely sturdy vehicle and consistently earns top notch crash ratings.
This is a good all around family sedan for the money.
